Claudia recently had an extensive courtroom sketching project using pastels, which inspired this new children's style for her. The project had been so emotionally serious and intense, she wanted to take this knowledge of the medium and turn it into a lighter and more happy artistic expression. |

She starts the piece as a hand done drawing, with the paper texture, and finishes on the computer gives a homey feel, without being dated. Claudia is currently illustrating a new children's story in this style. Click on an image to see a larger version |

| This group of illustrations brings Claudia back to her roots. Hand drawn art with watercolor or airbrush is her favorite to do. The current trend is reaching back to a more organic style, which Claudia feels is most appealing and natural to her. |  |

| Ronnie's Christmas Surprize is the second book that she has written as well as illustrated. It is a bedtime story about her son Ronnie who wants a special playmate. On Christmas, he gets his wish. |  |

| Grandma and Me is a verse written and illustrated by Claudia about her special relationship with her Grandmother. She taught her to go for the gusto in life and she strives to live up to her example. |

The first two illustrations to the right are Claudia's first licensed character work.The subject matter was Polly Pocket and friends. |

| Claudia illustrated "Stranger Danger, the Rule". It explains in a friendly verse " Please don't go" while illustrating many potentially dangerous instances in which children could be coaxed to go with a stranger or a person they already know. The art reveals how people are menacing may appear to be friendly and harmless. |  |
